Dear Future Sixth Graders,
Welcome to the wonderful world of Middle School!! We are eagerly awaiting your arrival!
There are some things that you need to know before you travel "down the hill".
1. You will be allowed to rent lockers; you must know how to use a combination lock.
2. You will be dressing out for P.E. You will need to buy P.E. uniforms.
3. We start class EXACTLY at 8:00 a.m. If you are late, you will have to pick up a
tardy slip in the office. Too many tardies and you will be going to Summer School!!
4. You will be allowed to buy a snack each day.
There are several things I want you to do in order to be ready for 6th Grade.
1. Read the following books over summer vacation: Tom Sawyer,
Swiss Family Robinson and 1 biography.
2. Purchase the following back to school supplies:
-King James Version of the Bible
-(2) Five Subject Notebooks
-(1) Three Subject Notebook
-(1) Heavy Duty Binder w/Dividers
-Lots of loose leaf notebook paper
-Lots of #2 pencils
-Colored pencils
-Red pens
-Ruler, protractor and compass
-Box of tissues
