$20,000 Scholarship from KFC Colonel's SholarshipKFC Colonel's Scholars is looking for high school seniors with financial need and an entrepeneurial spirit to qualify for the KFC Colonel's Scholars Program. Awards are up to $20,000 for tuition, fees, textbooks, room and board.
To qualify, graduating high school seniors must: -Earn a minimum high school cumulative GPA of 2.75 -Enroll in a public college or university within their legal state of residence -Plan to pursue a bachelor's degree -Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident -Demonstrate financial need Online scholarship application will be available from December 1, 2009 to February 10, 2010. $11 billion in Merit Aid ScholarsAwarded to students with a broad range of GPAs. Students with a 2.0 or higher often qualify; scholarships based on interests, intended majors, leadership and community service. Click on this link for more info.

Merit Awards Program @ UNCGThese selective academic excellence awards are offered to incoming freshmen. To apply for these awards, current high school seniors must present a minimum 1200 SAT (combined critical, reading & math) or 27 ACT, and a minimum 3.5 cumulative high school GPA. Annual award amounts range from $2500 to full tuition, fees, room & board, and are renewable for up to a total of four years of undergraduate enrollment. Applications are due in early January. Awards require on-campus interviews, usually held in late February/early March. Please visit our website for exact application dates.
